Ariana Grande Eating Disorder Rumors: 'The Way' Singer Posts Response on Tumblr, Nickelodeon Star Has a New Single?

Ariana Grande is the latest Nickelodeon star to make it big. Grande starred on the networks show "Victorious" before getting the spinoff "Sam & Cat." Now, her single "The Way" has garnered over 45 million views on YouTube since being released in March. However, with fame comes scrutiny. Grande has been dealing with rumors that she may be suffering from an eating disorder. Grande decided to rebuke these rumors by posting a statement on her Tumblr page. Grande also just released a teaser of her latest single.

In response to eating disorder rumors Grande posted on her Tumblr:
"This is about making sure the foods you put in your body will nourish you and be put to good use. The reason why I lost as much weight as I did is because I used to live on junk food. Like around the clock. So I drastically changed my eating habits, started exercising daily and I'm all around a healthier me. I'm eating as much as I was before just the content has changed."
Grande says she lost weight because she started focusing on eating healthier and cutting out fast foods. Grande writes:
"Yes, I lost a bit of weight last year. It's because I stopped eating junk food and started making healthy choices. I was happy with the way I was before and I'm still happy now! Just healthier! To be honest I never really looked at myself too long in the mirror when I was younger, I just didn't care. (Which is why some of my red carpet photos are so mortifying). But the lifestyle change I chose to make last August is not and was never about being skinnier. I just wasn't taking care of myself at all. I was making really poor choices."

Ariana está harta de los comentarios y los rumores sobre su peso, rumores que últimamente estaba diciendo que ella sufría un desorden alimenticio.

Para frenar estos rumores Ariana ha decidido ser sincera y hablar ella misma, y lo ha hecho a través de su cuenta de Tumblr.

“No suelo hablar de los rumores, pero siento que desde que algunos de vosotros estáis preocupados por mi, debo dedicar tiempo a escribir una pequeña nota sobre este asunto de los desórdenes alimentarios.

Primero de todo, muchísimas gracias por preocuparos por mi, pero el tema se está yendo de las manos, por eso he decidido escribir esto.

Sí, perdí un poco de peso el año pasado, pero fue porque dejé de comer comida basura y empecé a tomar decisiones más sanas. ¡Estaba contenta con cómo era antes y sigo contenta ahora, solo que más sana! Para ser honesta, realmente nunca me miré mucho rato en el espejo cuando era más joven, no me importaba.

La razón por la que perdí tanto peso es porque solía vivir para la comida basura, así que cambié drásticamente mis hábitos alimenticios, empecé a hacer ejercicio a diario y ahora estoy más sana. Como más que antes, solo que el contenido ha cambiado”.

Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy have revealed who they would love to see guest star on “Sam & Cat” in the future! Ariana revealed to MTV:

" Lil Wayne. In what world would he do it? In what world would there be a storyline that would fit having Lil Wayne on the show? "

And Jennette added:

" I wish Miranda [Cosgrove] or Jerry [Trainor] or Nathan [Kress] [would come on the show]. That would be fun. I love them all. I feel weird singling some of them out. It’d be super cool if they were to show up and be in an episode."
